-------I would like say that we all know that Sal was a avid base ball fan and player but do you guys know he wsa also very enthusiastic about music as well.As a kid growing up in New York City, some of the best rock shows was only finger tips away from us! Lord knows as young truks we took full advantage of this.
Some of best shows I ever seen in my life was with Sal, my brother and some of the guys, I will always cherish those great times! One that really stands out is the first concert we all went to was Johnny Winer And at The Filmore East, when we were at the box office the youg buy very foxy chick told us that Johnny is a no show,in the hospital kicking H, but to replace him would be BBKing and Albert King and Jonnny's young brother Eager Winter's White Trash, It didn't take much for all of us to ''run''inside and listento the Kings of the Blues. This was one of many great times we all had together, why, because Sally D was the music Man!
One of the frist albumsI ever borrowed from a little music store in the L.H. Martans shopping ( If you guys remember) with Sal by my side, was Jimi Hendrix Band of Gypys, which is the freaking greatest live album ever! Throw- out the many years that have past, every time I listen to this album it alway reminds me of Sally D!
So, in honor of Sal, tonight after work I will pour myself I very nice glass of wine and put on Jimi Hendrix Band of Gypy, and play it very freaking LOUD,and think of all the great times I had with Sally D. Love you my Brother, Joey Muzzi
