Theresa Bradley,
Theresa Bradley passed away on March 13, 2018 at home,surrounded by her family. Born in Staten Island, Terry was a resident of Rossville. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph/St. Thomas Church.
Terry attended St. Teresa grammar school, Susan Wagner High School, and the College of Staten Island earning an A.A., B.A. and master's degree. She was an early childhood educator with the New York City Dept. of Education, at Public School 56, for 22 years. She worked tirelessly ensuring that the needs of her students were always met.
Terry was an avid theater goer, mah-jong enthusiast, and book club organizer. She especially enjoyed taking vacations to the beach with family and friends. In her spare time, Terry always stayed active with enrichment classes.
Terry is survived by Bill, her husband and best friend of 37 years, and her cherished sons, Ryan and Matthew. In addition, Terry is also survived by her father, Joseph DeMartinis, her sister, Janice Posner, and her brothers, Michael and James DeMartinis. She was predeceased by her mother, Angela DeMartinis. Her many nieces and nephews thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Aunt Terry.
The family would appreciate, in lieu of flowers, donations to any of the following organizations; Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Weill Cornell Rehabilitation, and the Staten Island Visiting Nurse Service / Hospice.
Visiting is Thursday, March 15, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral is Friday at 11 a.m. at Scarpaci Funeral Home. Cremation is private. Scarpaci Funeral Home is located at 6389 Amboy Rd. Staten Island, NY 10309 (718) 966-7800
