Lorraine Pellecchia-Strusinski  AGE: 65 of Pleasant Plains passed away on April 25, 2018.
Born on September 8,1952 in Brooklyn.
  Lorraine attended St Francis De Chantle and Our lady of Guadalupe (Grammer School) then
New Utrect High School. She graduated the College of SI in June 1980 (AAS in nursing ). She again graduated in June 1984 with her BSN and became a Registered nurse in 1984.  She Graduated SUNY Downstate in 1992 with an MSN.
She then began her career at  Lutheran Medical Center in 1980. In 1982 she became
RN in ICU at Staten Island University Hospital and would remain there 34 years. Lorraine also taught nursing at the College of Staten Island for 27 years. 
She was an active parishoner of St Joseph St Thomas RC Church
She loved  ALL animals especially her 2 Dogs Dutchess and Sophia and her cats. She cared for all the neighborhood stray cats daily, and would often take in sick cats and kittens and nurse them back to health and have them spayed and or nuetered and find them homes.
She enjoyed cooking for her family and hosting holidays. She loved the beach and to go on Vacation especially on her annual cousins trip to Las Vegas. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Lorraine was the the beloved wife of Rudy Strusinki for 37 years.
Devoted mother of Claudine Porracchio, Joe Caracciolo, Roman Strusinski (twin), Rudy Strusinski jr (twin) and Jame Strusinski.
Beloved grandmother of Joseph Caracciolo and Christopher Porracchio.
Lorraine was predeceased by, Joseph Pellecchia (father), Rose Pellecchia (Mother).
