A beautiful life

A life well lived is never filled with regrets. Carmela had a life well lived, she knew me almost my entire life, she was a beautiful person inside and out. When my mom would ask her to watch me I was always happy because she was fun and I knew she was looking out for me. I have amazing childhood memories playing on the lawn at th house on Ave V, big Sunday dinners in the yard and making club houses out of the wine grape boxes. Birthday parties in the basement with all the kids from the block.The Bottalico family was my second extended family, my family was very small and a big portion of my cousins were in Ohio since my uncles job took him out there in the early 1960's. Carmela treated me as if I were another kid or nephew to her. Missed alwasy never ever forgotten. Rest in Peace until we all meet again.
