Obituary for
Salvatore Langella
Salvatore Langella, 63, of Staten Island, NY, passed away comfortably on Wednesday May 8th 2019. He was surrounded by his wife, daughter, son-in-law, and nephew.
Salvatore is survived by his wife of 33 years, Geraldine, daughter Gabrielle, son-in-law Gregory, and many loving nieces and nephews, as well as extended family. Salvatore was a caring father, husband, and friend to everyone. He will always be loved and greatly missed by his family.
Salvatore was known by many for making jokes and pulling pranks. He would do anything to make everyone smile. He especially enjoyed playing video games and watching over his nieces and nephews during the holidays. Salvatore also had many hobbies including collecting memorabilia, comic books, and star gazing through his telescopes. He spent his free time watching TV or getting a new tattoo. He also had a great love for spending time with the family pets and if any animal was in need he would bring it home and it would automatically be adopted into the family, whether his wife accepted it or not!
A special thank you to the staffs of Richmond University Medical Center's Trauma ICU Unit and Kindred Rahway medical team for their loving care and support during Sal's final moments. "Superman Sal" deeply appreciated your exceptional and quality medical care.
