Obituary for Peter J. Donnelly

Peter Donnelly, of Staten Island, NY formerly of Brooklyn NY, passed away on Sunday, August 11th at SI University Hospital. He was born on April 5, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Frank and Alice (Rice) Donnelly. He worked at United Parcel Service (UPS) for 32 years before retiring in 1997. He enjoyed spending time with his family and frequently vacationing in Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Flora (DeCarolis) Donnelly, his brother, Francis Patrick Donnelly, his sister, Mary Spano, his son Peter Donnelly and his wife, Jeanine, his daughter Lorraine Valentone and her husband, Emilio, his daughter Doreen Carillo and her husband, Joseph, three grandchildren, Anthony, Michael and Peter, and one great-granddaughter, Mia Lauren. Friends and family may call from 2 - 5pm and 7 - 9:30pm on Thursday, August 15th at Scarpaci Funeral Home, 6389 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY. Mass to be held on Friday, August 16th at 10 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea, 5371 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY, followed by interment at The Cemetery of the Resurrection, 361 Sharrott Ave. Staten Island, NY
