Obituary for Paul M. Manzella

Paul Michael Manzella of Staten Island, NY, passed away on February 3, 2020, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Husband to Lori Manzella (née, Coglitore), the couple was married on the island of St. John, USVI, June 21, 1989. Paul was the loving, proud father to his daughter, Dana Rose. They shared many hours of quality time together. When Dana was young it wasn’t unusual to find Dana wearing her tool belt, a caulking gun or hammer in hand working alongside her dad.

Recently retired as a Building Mechanic for the DOE, Paul continued with his part time job at P.S. 36, a job close to home that he enjoyed going to. Paul formed many loving and lasting friendships during his long work history—friends that we will never forget.

Paul was the son of the late Michelina and Paul Manzella, and brother to the late Rose Heins and Margo Manzella. He is survived by his wife Lori, daughter Dana, twin sister Brenda, niece Christa, nephews Jon, Andrew and Brandon and he was great uncle to Sean, Taryn, Aliyah and Juliet.

He enjoyed listening to music, fishing, traveling and had an artistic flair for drawing, cooking and gardening. He loved nature and being outdoors. Paul was a generous, honest man who will be missed by all who knew him.
