Billy was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY by his now deceased parents, Paul and Lena Mandile. He is preceded in death by his brother, Paul. He moved out to Staten Island in 1982. He was a retired New York City Police Officer.
He was known as a happy go lucky person, always with a big smile on his face! His greatest joy in life came from spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a wonderful dad and grandpa who was so very loved by his family. He forged many lifelong friendships, some going back over 50 years. He had lots of nieces and nephews who looked up to him and adored him. He was extremely active and enjoyed playing racquetball and golf, riding his motorcycle with his Club and spending time with his friends, old and new. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Wake will be held Friday, April 24th for immediate family members. Funeral procession to follow for all who would like to participate. Burial will be at 12 noon at Resurrection Cemetery.
