DOROTHY (DOTTIE) GRAFFEO
September 23, 1954 – July 22, 2022

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family of
Dorothy inform you on July 22, 2022 she passed away
peacefully at the age of 67. She stayed long enough
to meet her first grandchild; Louis Anthony Sena born
July 19, 2022 at 5:21am (Melanie & Anthony).
Dorothy resided on Staten Island all her life, where
she received her cosmetology license from McKee
High School. She was a great hairstylist and had
clients that stayed with her for many years.
Her hobbies were bingo (back in the day she would go
near and far for a bingo game with her mom, sister
Sandra & Aunt Ednamae in tow), bowling and Atlantic
City.
She is survived, with great memories of love and
laughter, by her amazing children Melanie and
Charles, her two sisters Sandra (Kevin) Brown and
Ann (John) DiSomma and her husband Michael
Peluso, who for twenty-four years was an angel by her
side. He was the light that kept her smiling. He loved
her and cared for her until she had to leave to
continue her journey.
She is preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and
Thomas Signorile and husband Louis Graffeo (who
left us too soon).
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 31st
