Condolence From: Jillian
Condolence: Poppy, my blood as you’d say
I will always remember..
Your beautiful blue eyes
Your big smile
Your Strong hands
The way you’d always push me high on the swing
The way you loved to learn
The way you loved to walk
The way you’d call me a balloon when I was being silly
The way you respected all living beings
The way you protected us
The way you taught me to always be proud
The way you loved listening to thunder storms
The way you knew the time of day by looking at the sun
Thank you for teaching me to be a heart centered warrior & navigator, I am deeply proud to be part of your lineage. I will walk with the wisdom you’ve granted.
You lit quite a fire in my heart in both life & death. I love you eternally.
I will never say goodbye to you, only see you later

Condolence From: Michael DeMarco
Condolence: Pop, even though I was your son in law you always treated me like a son. You were my second father! Like my father, you taught the value of Family & how to be a Gentleman. I watched & learned. 35 years ago I met & fell in Love with my wife and your beautiful daughter Vita Ann. The first day I met you and Annette (Mom) on your front stoop on West 7th Street (dare I go in the house) Vita Ann introduced me to you & my future second Mom, we shook hands & lets just say, The rest is history. I didn't know at that time the relationship we would share together & as a Family. We had our own conversations that I will always cherish and you also included me like one of your own children when a more serious decision had to be made. When Vita Ann & I had our first child & yours and Moms first Grandson Michael James (MJ) we would just sit down as you would say (just watch) with a glow in your eyes & see this little man grow into the great man & father that he is today. But it didn't stop there, We as a Family did the same for Jillian, Thomas, Juliet, Brielle, Paul Nunzio, Olivia & Gianella. Family!!! I am so Happy that you were able to see & hold (MJ & Crystal) baby your Great Granddaughter Lily Belle. I could write for hours all the Family stories & trips & the good you did for me & everyone that came into your life, but I am going to keep that close in my heart. I know you know that I will continue to take care of Vita Ann & all of our family, and know that we will all do our part & care for the Love of your life Annette (Mom). You will be dearly missed but always be in my Heart Pop. Family!!!!!!!!!

Condolence: I am not a family member but my earliest memories of "family at the dinner table" always included Nunzie and Annette: Christmas after midnight, their engagement announcement and the very special night Nunzie & Annette announced they were having their first child. Nunzie was a brother to my older brother George and as Nunzie's grandson said " ..... You are a stand up man and leave behind shoes that will never be filled."
Nunzie was always there for my brother and stood close to all of us blessed to be part of his circle. Thank you Nunzie for always being a beacon of loyalty and affection. You showed all us what really matters: integrity and family. Heartfelt gratitude.

Condolence: Pop, you are the greatest man I have ever known. You taught me how to be a man and mostly a family man. The lessons I have learned from talking to you and even just watching you on how to handle yourself are the most valuable to me. We shared a great bond I would call it more like best friends than grandfather/grandson. You are a stand up man and leave behind shoes that will never be filled. Can’t say in words how much you mean to me. I love you forever. MJ
