Prior to her illness, Julia was full of life and tried to make others around her live their lives to the fullest.
With a smile on her face, she was always fashionable in the very best clothing and fanciest shoes she could find. She would accessorize with jewelry and was known to have her hair and nails immaculate at all times. She had a zest for life. Julia loved to have fun and was famous for hosting many get togethers and parties through the many years. Everyone could recall the many annual Christmas parties that were hosted by Julia and Alfred.
Julia was a devout Catholic and would regularly attend mass. She was a former Parishioner of St. Patrick's Parish in Richmondtown. Julia also loved to knit and was known to bake many different cakes, cookies, etc. and was famously known for her 7 layer cookies (also known fondly as the rainbow cookies).
Julia loved to travel, whether it be to Florida, Vegas, Italy or somewhere else in the world. Julia made the best of her time. She knew how to enjoy life and tried to make the many others around her do the same. Julia was a strong woman who desired family and knew that family was the foundation of everything else to build on. She did her best to instill these characteristics into the many people in her life and tried to bring out the very best within us all. She will be missed dearly.
