On Monday, April 17th, Sofia Mazzella (Nonni) passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 89 years old.
Born in Torregavata, Naples, Italy in 1933, Sofia lived a full, enriched life. A beloved mother and “Nonni” Sofia loved to cook and take care of her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Domenico, her son Vincent, parents Franco and Rosa Penza, and siblings Raffele and Anna Maria.

She is survived by her brother Pasquale, daughters Roseanne & Theresa (Nick), her grandchildren Daniel (Claudia), Isabella (William), Taylor & Nicole and great grandson Domenico.
