I can still hear Chris' voice booming over the rest of the entire cast of Fiddler On The Roof at St John Villa .... signing the opening song: Tradition .... And I thought to myself, a Jhs kid ... that's what I'm going to do when I get to high school; he was a better singer than I. He was a hero to me when I saw him. We met up in the early 1980s, a few years later, when I was playing a comic role in a show at St Joseph Hill ... and he was as open and nice and friendly a guy you could ever meet ... Chris introduced me to Mario Lanza. Then, again, we connected in the 1990s when he was working at SI Boro Hall and I was assigned to the Boro Commissioner's Office. I'm so sad to hear of the loss of this very talented renaissance man ... may he rest in peace and my sincere sympathy to his family.
