Concert Band

Andrew was my Trombone section leader junior year where we first met. There was never a dull moment with our group of goofballs and Andrew made everyday so enjoyable and so much more to look forward to. One of my favorite memories of him was when we played a Looney Tune's piece in band and he asked Mrs. Schubert if he could do the porky pig impression for the farewell at the end. He did it at the concert to end the night and it was so fun, moments i'll never forget and moments that will always make me laugh. He was so passionate about band and always reached out to help his section and we became really good friends, our section so close. We were a little trombone family. It was such a honor to be able to play with Andrew and to be able to call him my friend. He was no longer in concert band senior year but we'd pass eachother in the hallway everyday second period when I walked to class with my boyfriend, Andrew Gilsenan, who was a very close friend of his. The little things we all should never take for granted. His memory live on forever in my heart.
