John B. Migliorisi
Mr. John B. Migliorisi died on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at The Gardens at Monroe Healthcare Rehabilitation in Monroe Township, New Jersey. He was 90 years old. Mr. Migliorisi was born and raised in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn, NY. He continued to live in Brooklyn after marriage and raised his family there until he and his wife Frances moved to Staten Island, NY in 1988. After 59 years of marriage, his beloved wife Frances died in February of 2017. At that time, he moved to his daughter and son-in-law’s home in Monroe Township, NJ. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration at Baruch College, New York in 1957. He worked as an Assistant Vice President at Heller Financial in NYC until he retired in 1998. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His hobbies included baseball, tennis, golf, art, music, movies and poetry. He also loved photography and taking photos of his family and specific places in Brooklyn. Mr. John B. Migliorisi is survived by his son John S. Migliorisi and his wife Debbie of Ocean Twp. NJ; his daughter Carol Feretich and her husband John of Monroe Township, NJ; his daughter Lisa DeRosa and her partner of 10 years Anthony Pompeo of Toms River, NJ; his grandchildren, Don Migliorisi and his wife Marian, Brian Migliorisi and his wife Christy, Christopher Migliorisi and his wife Jackie, Alexa De Rosa and her fiancé Jonathan Ofsanko, Matthew De Rosa and his wife Stephanie, Nicole Feretich, Francesca Feretich and Vincent Feretich; his four great grandchildren, Luke, Ava, Lily and Leonardo; his sister Del Scire and her husband Salvatore; his nephew Patrick Scire and his wife Jennifer and their three children, Jake, Salvatore, and Kolby, as well as many other extended family members.
