Salvatore J Giglio Sr.
Passed away on January 13, 2024. For 63 years Salvatore was married to the love of his life Ann Livigni Giglio. They shared a life of love raising their three sons in Brooklyn, NY. Salvatore was always a great caring man to his family and friends. In their 63 years of being married he always did all the shopping and was always providing for his family. He spent most of his days with his grandchildren who he loved very much. He loved playing his lotto numbers, and his endless bowls of after dinner ice cream.
Salvatore was in the carpenters union for many years. Where he was very proud of the buildings and infrastructures he worked on. He would often point them out to his children and grandchildren. After he retired from his job in the carpenters union he went on to become a superintendent for a co-op building in Brooklyn, where he was always there for everyone around him. After another retirement from being a super he spent most of his days with his family.
He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, whether it was a bbq , a vacation to Florida visiting his family or helping with his children’s latest projects.
He is survived by his wife Ann of 63 yrs, his sons Michael, Frankie, and Salvatore jr. His daughter in laws Maria, Carol and Sarah. His grandchildren Michael, Angelique, Sophia, Sally, Cos, Brianne, Salvatore III, Amanda and Nicolas. And his great granddaughter Lea. He was a great husband, father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed.
