Clifford Fisch
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Clifford B. Fisch on February 11th, 2024 in Staten Island, NY. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife Pasqualina Fisch, loving daughter Ellen B. Fisch-Lepore, doted upon grandchildren Giuliana Lepore and Mario Lepore, loving son-in law Louis Lepore, loving sister Susan Snyder, loving brother-in-laws Giulio Pomponio and Rick Snyder, loving sister-in-law Loredona Pomponio, and loving nephews Frank Pomponio, Daniel Snyder and Jason Snyder. Clifford was known to his grandchildren as Pop-Pop, spending hours of time with his grandchildren.
Dr. Clifford B. Fisch was born on October 11, 1944 in Junction City, Kanas. A graduate of CUNY Brooklyn College, with a degree in Psychology, Master’s Degree in Psychology from City College of New York and Doctoral degree in Psychology from Pace University. He was a New York City Board of Education School Psychologist for over 15 years. He had a dedicated private psychology practice on Staten Island from 2005 until the present. Clifford was passionate about helping those with mental difficulties or issues. He was especially passionate about helping children; he took great joy in helping young children overcome their mental health challenges.
Clifford had many hobbies and was known for always keeping busy. His interests included Gardening, Antiquing, Wine tasting, Wine Theory and Gastronome. He was very passionate about his antiquing, collecting various estate items over the years. He had a great love of wine and expansive knowledge on this subject; he spent years building a vast wine collection over the past 30 years and enjoyed connecting with his fellow wine enthusiasts at various events. As a member of The Garden State Chapter of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs he holds the title of Chevalier.
He was preceded in death by daughter Laura B. Fisch, father Edward B. Fisch, and mother Barbara Fisch. Funeral services will be held on Scarpaci Funeral Home 6389 Amboy Road Staten Island 10309. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island, New York.
